Reflection
The story of Susanna, unjustly accused, shows God’s faithfulness in defending the innocent and the importance of trusting Him. In the Gospel, Jesus shows mercy to the woman caught in adultery and invites her to sin no more. We contemplate mercy that does not condemn but frees. During this Lenten season, ask yourself: Am I willing to offer mercy to others as God offers it to me?
