Reflection
Jesus calls us to radical love: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” It’s not enough to love those who love us back. Lent is the perfect season to examine whether we cling to resentment or choose the path of gospel love. Deuteronomy underscores that we are a people set apart for the Lord. Let our distinctiveness shine through compassionate love—even toward our adversaries.
