Reflection
Jonah’s preaching leads the Ninevites to conversion, showing God’s mercy when we turn away from sin. In the Gospel, Jesus calls this the “Sign of Jonah”—an invitation to genuine repentance. True penance isn’t just about external acts but an inner transformation. This Lent, ask yourself: “Am I resisting a deeper conversion?” God is always ready to relent and forgive when we open our hearts to Him.
