“Be Not Afraid, Come to Me in the Eucharist and find Forgiveness, Hope, and Love”

Dear Parish Family,

On Ash Wednesday, we enter a new season of the Church. I would like to invite you to walk this Lenten Journey together as a community.

The general theme this year: “Be Not Afraid, Come to Me in the Eucharist and find Forgiveness, Hope, and Love” reminds us that fear, because we are sinners, is an obstacle that keeps us away from God and prevents us from encountering Him. However, God with his relentless love invites us every day to come to Him, to overcome our fear of being rejected by Him, and to encounter Him in the Sacraments, especially in the Holy Eucharist.

I hope that with this Lent, you may be encouraged to see clearly what God has done for you in love, that He desires to save you not condemn you (Jn 3:17).
